The Town of Ranlo is pleased to provide an update on the South Ranlo Water-Line Replacement Project. Phase 1 of the project is currently approximately 20% complete.
To date, the new water main has been installed along Rhyne Place, Rhyne Street, and the north end of Franklin Street. Five new fire hydrants have also been installed as part of this section of the project.
The newly installed section has been pressure tested, disinfected, and placed into service. Additionally, six homes on Rhyne Place have been successfully transferred from the existing 1-inch water main to the new water main.
Work will continue to progress through the remaining areas included in Phase 1.
The Town appreciates the patience and cooperation of our residents as we continue making these important improvements to Ranlo’s water infrastructure. Additional updates will be provided as the project progresses.
