At a special called meeting of the Ranlo Board of Commissioners on March 25th 2021, the Board unanimously approved two resolutions requesting direct funding from the federal and state government for special projects to benefit the Town of Ranlo.

In total, five resolutions have been sent to the Town’s federal delegation in Washington, D.C. and to the Town’s state delegation in Raleigh, North Carolina.

In the resolutions, the Board specifically requests much needed support for seven projects ranging from water infrastructure assistance, street and highway expansion and reconstruction, sidewalk repairs, and funding to bring ADA accessible amenities across the Town.

The United States Congress has until April 15 to include these projects for special consideration.
